Damrob Pty Ltd was established in 2003 trading as Damrob Engineering Services, with a primary focus on providing surveying services for civil and structural engineering firms.

Having been employed by several Surveying & Engineering firms prior to 2003, our directors gained invaluable insight to the requirements and workflow of engineering firms and saw a specific gap in the market for a provider of quality engineering level and detail surveys.

As our client base grew and diversified over the following years it was becoming increasingly apparent that we were no longer only providing engineering based surveying services, so with the merger of Damrob Photography in 2014, Engineering Services was dropped from our name.

Since our inception we have embraced Trimble surveying equipment for its ease of use, ruggedness and reliability.

Our very first 5600 series Robotic Total Station was the backbone of our business for 10 years allowing a single person field crew to undertake work quicker than conventional equipment with two man crews, before eventually being retired for a S-Series Total Station & RTK GPS combination that has delivered unprecedented efficiency gains over the older equipment.

In 2014 we took delivery of our first 3d Laser Scanner and are excited with the possibilities this technology will provide our clients into the future.

In a busy year, the 2014 merger with Damrob Photography (previously a portrait & commercial photography business) brings even more exciting possibilities for our clients, with services like 360 degree imaging providing unprecedented tools for our clients to either showcase their work or communicate site conditions.
